Fuerza Latina’s Community Programs
Learn how to dance to the rhythm of a wide range of Latin American genres including Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, and more! This program runs once a week and is open to women and children.
Starting in September, with the help of a professional psychotherapist, we provide parents of teens 12+ a space to focus on building bonds, conflict resolution, emotional management, and more.
Our soccer program offers young children an introduction to the world’s most-played sport! We organize weekly soccer practices and games for children aged 5 to 18 at Mackenzie Glen Public School.
The seniors’ program focuses on three major principles: live, laugh, and learn. Seniors gather once a week at the Maple Community Centre for different activities including exercise, arts & crafts, dance, as a support group, and more.
This Fall is our Spanish lessons for kids begin! This program aims to improve kids’ Spanish speaking skills through creative games, storytelling, and interactive exercises. Pre-registration is now open.
We designed the Youth Leadership Program to help participants acquire new leadership and interpersonal skills to manage any situation they encounter and turn them into a successful outcome.
Take part in our most popular program, Zumba! Get your cardio done without feeling like you are exercising at all. Suitable for most ages. Pay as you go, classes run on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week.
This program is 100% free! A support group for Spanish speaking women. We meet every week to discuss any topic that’s on our participant’s mind. Our safe space aims to build a network of support among Spanish speaking women.
