About the Parent-Teen Support Group
Our Parent-Teen Support Group’s main purpose is to build a local network of support for parents, guardians and relatives who are experiencing difficulty connecting and/or understanding behaviours of their teens or young adults.
You’ll find lots of practical advice on how to deal with common teen issues, as well as various fun bonding activities. We have a strong emphasis on sharing positive and negative experiences, guidance and support for making changes that make a healthy transition to adulthood

Building Relationships
Develop a secure and stable relationship with your teenagers by learning more about what they may be experiencing or issues they may be going through. Learn practical tools you can use to help them navigate their problems.
Conflict Resolution
We bring parents and teens together using a professionally guided process to build better communication skills, work though differences, find a common goal and help family members work together as a team.
Emotional Management
Learn to identify when and why your teen may be in distress. Develop common support mechanisms and teach them how to seek help and work through issues independently.
