About The Workshop
The Youth Leadership Workshop is a 16 week program where local youth, ages 14 – 18, have the opportunity to meet high achieving professionals and learn about being empowered, nurturing leadership skills, professional best practices, habits that lead to success, and more. This program is ideal for youth who want to learn how succeed at being the leader of any situation.
LOCATION: Maple Community Centre
Our Youth Leadership Program aims to expand thre capacity of our paticipants to perform in leadership roles by improving their skills, abilities and confidence. We focus on coaching collective leadership development that emphasizes teamwork, communication, motivation, and problem solving.
We believe action speak louder than words. That is why we love to run unique interactive leadership activities that reflect the topics of discussion every week. These fun activities will allow participants put newly learnt concepts into practice while improving teamwork skills.
Levels of Leadership
Participants will be introduced to the levels of leadership. They will have to opportunity to identify where their current skills are, create a comprehensive goal, and develop a path of action that will lead them to achieving their goals.
Ethical & Strategic Leadership
A good leader is considerate of the dignity and rights others while being able to openly express their vision, and motivate others to join them in the accomplishment of a common goal. Our participants will learn how manage dificult situations in stratigic and ethical ways that will lead to a positive outcome.
We offer one-on-one coaching for those participants who want to continue growing their leadership skills beyond the Youth Leadership Workshop. Coaching sessions availability is limited, and they must be booked head of time.

What is the cost of the workshop?
There is only one small fee of $35 to cover the cost of all materials.
Is this program taught in Spanish?
No, the workshop is devlivered in English and is open to youth of all backgrounds.
How do I register to this program?
Can I drop by for a class to see what this is about?
Unfortunately no. Spots are limited and time is exclusively dedicated to current participants.
Is there a penalty if I don't attend EVERY week?
There is no penalty if you cannot attend every week. However, we encourage participants to come every week as we believe each lesson is highly important, and we don’t want anybody to miss out.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is free parking at the Maple Community Centre
